Vision FC will be looking to build on their opening day victory as they take on fellow Ghana Premier League debutants, Basake Holy Stars, on Matchday 2 of the Division One Super Cup.
Fresh from the 2-0 win over Techiman Liberty Youth three days ago, the lads are brimming with confidence heading into the crucial encounter tomorrow.
A victory over Basake Holy Stars will put Nana Agyemang’s side in a strong position to progress to the tournament’s knockout stages.
For Holy Stars, this game is even more crucial. After securing a 1-1 draw with Techiman Heroes, they’ll need nothing but a win to cushion their chances of progressing into the knockout round.
Both teams have shown promise in their respective campaigns, and this match promises to be competitive.
Vision FC occupy the summit of Group B with 3 points, two more than their next opponents, Holystars and Techiman Heroes, who are tied at 1 each.
With a place in the next round up for grabs, both sides will be eager to secure a positive result.
The match is scheduled to take place at the Nana Konamansah Park in Nsoatre and kicks off at 10am.
This is a pre-season tournament, and though competitive, it is yet to be seen if Nana Kweku Aggyemang will maintain his winning side or rotate the squad to give all the players a taste of the competition
