In a thrilling showdown of the 2024 Division One League Super Cup final, Vision FC defeated Okwawu United 7-6 on penalties at the Nana Konamansah Park in Nsoatre.
The game ended in a goalless draw after 90 minutes of intense football, which went straight to a penalty shootout.
Head Coach Nana Kweku Agyemang emphasized the importance of winning the 4th edition of the DOL SuperCup.
“Winning this tournament will boost our confidence, and I hope we’re able to carry this on into the Ghana Premier League. This trophy will bring my players together and enforce the discipline they need to excel in the Ghana Premier League.” He said.
Vision’s immediate focus, however, shifts to the Ghana Premier League, with our debut game against Berekum Chelsea scheduled for September 7 at the Nii Adjei Kraku II Sports Complex in Tema New Town.
As Vision FC prepares for this new chapter, the SuperCup win serves as a solid foundation for our ambitions in the top tier of Ghanaian football.
