Issah Akuka Issifu, who recently joined Vision FC from Ghana Premier League giants Accra Hearts of Oak, has expressed his excitement about the move.

Speaking with the media team, Akuka revealed that he had been following Vision FC’s progress for some time and was impressed by their outstanding performance in the Division One League.

“I’ve been following the team since they were in Division One, and they were doing marvelously well,” Akuka said.

“So yeah, obviously I was attracted to the club because they were doing well,” he added.

Akuka spent two seasons on loan at RTU during the 2021–22 and 2022–23 seasons, scoring a total of 14 goals. He is now looking forward to making a significant impact at Vision FC.

“I’m so happy and excited to be part of this group of players because we cooperate well and the training methods are all good for me,” Akuka added. “I’m very happy.”

The striker has called on the Eewo kɛkɛ fan base to continue supporting the team ahead of the new season.

“For the supporters, they should continue to support us,” Akuka said.

“We need their motivation when we’re inside the field, and hopefully we’ll perform and I’ll score a lot of goals for the team.”

The club hopes to capitalize on the forward’s experience as they seek to keep their Ghana Premier League status at the end of their debut campaign.
