Emmanuel Kyei Baffour crowned Vision’s Player of the Season
Our midfielder and captain, Emmanuel Kyei Baffour, was awarded Player of the Season at the inaugural end-of-season awards held at the plush Alisa Hotel on Sunday. This recognition comes thanks to his superb exploits in leading the club to earn promotion to Ghana’s elite football division for the first time in the club’s 25-year history.
The midfielder beat off competition from Habib Ganiyu, Gideon Ofori Offei, and Emmanuel Atta Frimpong to win the award.
Baffour was undoubtedly a key leadership figure within the squad as several new faces adapted to life in a young team.
Even in the toughest moments of the season, Emmanuel Kyei Baffour continued to exude class and composure, underlining his status as one of the best midfielders in the country, and one of the first names on the team sheet throughout the season.
He featured in all 30 games that the club played en route to securing promotion to Ghana’s top flight, and he registered his only goal of the season in our 2-1 away win against Akatsi All Stars on Matchday One. He also provided four assists.
