Vision FC are hard at work preparing for their maiden campaign in the Ghana Premier League 2024/2025 season.

Head coach, Nana Kweku Agyemang, has identified finishing as a key area for improvement as the team looks to compete in the Division One Super Cup and in the elite division.

“Perhaps, the biggest challenge with our game in Ghana is goalscoring or finishing, as we like to put it,” Agyemang said.

“We’re working tirelessly to improve our finishing capabilities to break through defensive lines and score goals.”

Nana Kweku Agyemang has also outlined his tactical approach for the team, emphasising a possession-based style of play. “I want us to play through the phases, build-up play, and create overloads in the middle of the park and in attack,” he explained.

“A cohesive and progressive style of play is the target.”

Vision FC secured promotion to the Ghana Premier League after winning Zone 3 of the Access Bank Division One League.

The team led by Nana Kweku Aggyemang has been engaged in intensive pre-season training at their base at Adjiringanor.

As part of the Vision FC’s pre-season build-up, the club will participate in the Division One League Super Cup, which features the three promoted teams and the runners-up of each zone.

Vision FC have been drawn in Group B with Techiman Heroes, Techiman Liberty, and fellow GPL debutants Baseke Holy Stars.

The competition will be held at the Nana Konamansah Park in Nsoatre from July 29 to August 13.

The Ewoo Kɛkɛ boys will take on Techiman Liberty in their first game of the Super Cup on Tuesday, August 30.
