Vision FC’s late fitness coach, Roy Ricky Romeo, has been posthumously honoured with the President’s Special Award for lifetime achievement.
Until his demise in April 2024, he held the position of the club’s fitness coach since 2016. Romeo also joined the backroom staff of the Black Stars in 2021 during Milovan Rajevac’s second stint as coach, serving as the fitness coach for the national team during the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar and the recent Africa Cup of Nations in Ivory Coast.
Romeo’s legacy is celebrated for his enduring impact on both club and national football, remembered fondly for his dedication and expertise.
